Because we DO always get what we ask for! It just sometimes looks nothing like what we thought it would (and sometimes thank goodness for that, in hindsight!) And sometimes it feels like the complete opposite of what we asked for, and we get upset about that.
But we forget that it’s a collaborative process, a dynamic, evolving creation with Life itself. We forget that things of exceeding value require energy and effort. We forget that transformation and growth require change and evolution, shedding of the old to make space for new, destruction to create space for creation.
Life is always helping us grow, pushing us towards more freedom, more capacity to hold more of Life, more openness, more softness.
And the better we get at seeing these ‘lessons’ in real time, the more vibrant of a experience of Life we get to explore.
